High Desert Cat Walk

Tosca won third place in her class in the online cat show. Of course, she should have been First, but, then I know, what a winner she is!
Anyway, she took it like a champ!

Some of Dave's recent cards

Finally got a new scanner, but it is awful and I'm sending it back.
Meanwhile, here are a few of Dave's recent cards that I like. I especially like his little stories on the back... click on them to enlarge so you can read 'em!!

Today's postcards

Time to update... so here are a few cards I've sent out that you may not have seen. I rather like the rabbit. It is drawn from a sculpture I love by Gino Miles, a sculptor who has a place on Canyon Road.
The Graphic Designer Souvenir speaks for itself. Why is drawing with a mouse easier than drawing with a pen and tablet? Practice!
And when I get my scanner working again, I'll scan a few of Dave's for you to see!

Peñasco Day Trip

A sunny winter day... a drive up the High Road to Taos.
Dining at the Sugar Nymphs Bistro in Peñasco (where the fine chef migrated from San Francisco's Greens Restaurant.)
Located next to the town theatre with a cold and lovely lobby area.
And outside, some creative fences brightened by the snow.
A good day!

Willow People

Wonderful Willow People we walked among at the Bosque School in Albuquerque. Created by sculptor Patrick Dougherty and students among the trees in the bosque by the Rio Grande.

It's time to get your tickets to the Barkin' Ball!
Here is the invitation with art I created this year. The theme is Western and we'll have some terrific foot stompin' tunes by Syd Masters and his Swing Riders. There's Blackie and Toots ropin' up some excitement... October 10 is the big day!

Dave draws

And here is Dave, my postcard correspondent. And he CAN draw, as these two pieces confirm. That's Dave himself in the self-portrait quick-draw at left and also, cavorting in the comics with his love, Patti.
